Day 2 in the step-down unit

Today the nurse practitioner took out Noah's pic line, so now he receives his morphine orally (hence the blue tongue in his pictures of today). So, now the only wires and tubes on Noah are his tube for food and his monitors that show his vital signs. As soon as Noah starts eating all of his food through the bottle- he is eating about half right now-the nose tube will be gone.
Mom experienced a new first today when after Noah had his food he projectile vomitted all over Mommy's hand. Another blessing was that Dad's work was cancelled today due to the weather, so he was able to see Noah all day.

We all still need your prayers, so please pray for:
1. Mom and Dad would be patient- we are missing our little boy more and more and hate leaving him at the hospital at night.
2. Noah would continue to make progress in eating and being weaned off morphine
3. Noah would be allowed to come home soon
4. Weird to ask, but please pray that Noah would go #2- the morphine slows his digestive system down, which makes him less hungry and more uncomfortable.

Love to you.
