Day 3 in the Step-down unit

Noah grows healthier and cuter everyday. All reports remain the same, but continue to slowly improve. One especially cute thing that Noah did today was when we turned his "Baby Bach" CD on, he kept arching his back and head to see where the sound was coming from. The CD player was directly behind his head, so you can imagine how silly his contorted body looked. Looks like we may have another musician in the family.

All of our prayer requests remain the same from last night, but with one addition. My friend Jenny Moeller, who is only 24 years old, had to go to the ICU last night when she suffered a pulmonary embolism. Jenny has become such an important friend to us in the last several months, as we befriended her and her husband at our new church in Pittsburgh. Jenny has provided a meal for us during our hard time and gave Lauren a ride to the hospital on Thursday morning since she can't drive due to her c-section.

Our hearts are heavy for Jenny and Aaron as we know too well what she will have to go through. Sometimes God's timing sure seems funny, but we know He has a reason for this and His reasons are always good and are always the best. Please pray for our dear sister in Christ if God so leads you.
