Pray for Mia

Noah's grandmother is having surgery today.  Noah calls her Mia.  Please pray for her and for her recovery.  Brandon is in Indiana visiting with his mom and supporting her, so please pray that he can remain calm and be a supportive son.  Also, please pray for me as I am taking care of Noah by myself (with a little reprieve from my parents) all day for the next couple days.  Noah is beginning to realize that something is not quite right since Daddy keeps calling but hasn't come home in a while.  Get better soon Mia!

Update:

My mother went in her surgery around 8 AM and they finished around 1 PM. They replaced her heart valve successfully, did a procedure to hopefully correct the problem she's had with ventricular afibrillation (unrelated to the valve issue), and performed a bypass. Right now she's resting comfortably at the hospital, coming out of anesthesia. The doctor and nurses were very pleased with the surgery and the nurse on duty tells me that my mother is progressing just like she should.

There are three things that they want to see:
1. that she fully wakes up from the anesthesia.
2. that her heart beat returns to its normal pace naturally
3. that she has no issues with internal bleeding.

So, if you could continue to pray for these three issues, we'd be grateful, as well as for Lauren taking care of Noah solo. However, thanks be to God, we've had nothing but good news so far today.
