Well, it's happened. We are officially home owners- well on September 30th we will be home owners. We are very pleased with the house we've chosen and hope to use it as a center of ministry to believer and unbeliever alike. The home, while a starter home in most eyes, has great potential to be our home for life if God wills.
The home was built in 1954 and was owned by only one owner in all its existence. The owner is a recent widow and was looking to move on from this location. While the home needs some cosmetic updates (the carpets are orange), the house was impeccably maintained and has enough land that one could easily add on to the house as well. The basement is unfinished, but also has great potential to be finished into a wonderful family room. The backyard is beautiful- we cannot wait to watch Noah run around and play in it when he comes of age for those activities.
We are looking forward to moving in and starting the rest of our lives together there.
