Two Days until we go home!?!

Yes, it is true, Noah will be completely off of morphine by tomorrow. This means if he can tolerate this change, we will be able to take him home on Monday. This is the news we have been waiting for since December 26th. Noah is doing very well. He has tolerated his weans very well and is eating like a horse rather than like a little baby boy. He was doing better with breast feeding a few days ago, but has gone a bit backwards with this recently. However, he is a master of the bottle. The doctors would like to see him eat 60-90 ml every 3-4 hours. He is far exceeding this expectation now, eating anywhere between 80-150 ml each time.

We are so proud of Noah. He has come so very far in such a short amount of time. We are also so thankful to God who has blessed us innumerably. We will keep you updated as much as we can as to whether or not Monday remains the day to take him home, but please pray that Monday will be that day. Please also pray that Noah would continue to improve with his eating and that his transition to home would go smoothly (and that Mom and Dad will be able to handle it). We love you all. God bless you.
