Today has been another roller coaster of a day. This morning his oxygenation was good as were his blood gas levels. They were talking of backing down on the ventilator and starting to wean him off of the drugs that keep him from moving. They went back a little on the ventilator around noon. Later on in the afternoon, his oxygenation levels went down as did his gas levels. As of right now, he is still stable but still has lower than normal blood gas levels. The use of the ECMO is still a possibility, especially if his gas levels don't improve. Please pray for Noah and us. I'd type more but I'm too tired.
