Want to see some more great pictures?

My brother put up some "interesting pictures" of Brandon and I when we visited Pittsburgh during Christmas. If you would like a good laugh, go to http://razentine.livejournal.com
Notice, you can also reach his blog from the links on the side of my blog.

My brother Michael is the greatest. Even though I may have to severely beat him to a pulp because of the pics he put up on his blog, he is usually the most awesome brother in the world! Imagine having ME as an older sister? Yeah, you would cry a lot, too. But for some reason he loves me and always treated me with kindness and respect as we grew up together (except when we were fighting over the remote control). I miss my brother a lot and I hope that in the next few years we will be able to live close together again (but not in the same house). Right now he goes to school at Case Western in Cleveland. This is about an 8 hour drive for Brandon and I. He kicks everybody's engineering butt there, academically speaking. Case Western is a really great engineering school and my brother is going to be very successful because of the massive brain God gave him. He also doesn't know this yet, but he is going to be my number one financial supporter in my opera career until I make it big, hahaha!

Truly, the best thing about my brother is his commitment to the Lord. He is a very dedicated Christian. He is now the President of Intervarsity at his school. I wanted him to get involved with Navigators, but I don't think they have Navs at his school. He goes to church that he picked over other churches because, "it is one of the only Bible-believing churches in town that is actually racially and ethnically diverse. There were only upper-class white people at the other churches I visited which seemed odd to me since their is so much racial diversity in the city of Cleveland."

Michael became a Christian around his senior year in high school- a time when most are just starting to outwardly express their hatred toward God. Michael was always a very nice and sensitive fellow, so to his friends the change may not have seemed all that signifigant. But I can see a huge change in my brother since he committed himself to Jesus. God is molding him into a strong, loving MAN of God. I am so proud of my brother.  I am so thankful that Michael, my little brother, is my brother in Christ as well.
Love always in the Lord

Lauren,

When I think about that fact that neither you or any of your family members were believers about 3 or 4 years ago and I read this blog about your brother, it really brings joy to my heart to see the work that the Lord has done in you and your family! Thanks be to God!
